Previously in 2015, following the release of the FIA Super License points system, Racefans, then known as F1 Fanatic had actually put up a series of charts comparing Formula 1 to various Feeder Series, and also the World Endurance Championship LMP1 cars. Unfortunately, the charts haven’t been visible for quite a while, and hence we have decided to produce our own charts to allow for a comparison in 2020, based upon the 2019 lap times.

For this comparison, we have taken the fastest qualifying times from each weekend, and in instances where rain occurred, we have used the fastest free practice time from the weekend. These weekends are marked with an asterisk (*), and are also listed here: 2019 F2 Hungary, Formula Regional European Championship (Catalunya). For the Formula Renault Eurocup round at Hungaroring, due to the poor qualifying times in dry conditions, both the fastest FP time and Qualifying times are reflected, to allow for a fairer comparison between the championships.
